Holy Smoke

HOLY SMOKE is a smoke house restaurant set in a listed building in Cork city centre. The design responds to the raw and exposed nature of the existing space which was formerly The Woodford Bourne bonded warehouse , a space which is dominated by beautiful red brick vaults and limestone walls.

Our design set out to respect but enhance the existing space by inserting a series of robust and intricately detailed elements using a simple palette of materials including steel mesh, polished concrete and colourful tiling. The restaurant is a striking addition to Cork city's food scene led by talented chef John Relihan, formerly head chef of Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa restaurant in London.
